Elaine has enjoyed working with acupuncture and The Chinese Medicine model of health for almost 30 years.  Originally training at the College of integrated Chinese medicine in Reading, Elaine then travelled to China to undertake postgraduate study in a teaching hospital and number of clinics.

Elaine has subsequently worked in diverse clinical and healthcare settings. These included Grayshott Health spa in Surrey for over 30 years (creating health programs and treating clients), The Fountain Centre at the Royal Surrey Hospital, The Osteopathic Centre for Children, and intermittently lecturing on topics of ‘Health Promotion through lifestyle’ on Voyages to Antiquity Cruises travelling throughout South East Asia.

She is passionate about combining acupuncture with some of the Chinese medicine approaches to lifestyle. This, in combination with small habit and lifestyle changes can lead to huge improvements in Health.

In addition to being a registered acupuncturist Elaine is also a registered osteopath with a particular interest in Cranial osteopathy, and a registered naturopath.
