Family dynamics- a guest interview for the Green Hub with Tone’s mother, Karin.
We are excited to share that a family psychotherapist, Julia Goodall will be joining us in April and in view of this, it seems fitting to share two interviews Tone did with her mother in February 2024.
Karin Backa Sigrell is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, psychoanalyst and family and couples therapist. She has seen over thousand families and couples in her 50 years of working. Tone is sure that her mother has influenced her interest in psychology trough her upbringing and a curiosity of people and their behaviour.
Karin loves her work so much that she only just stopped seeing patients in her early 80’s, and you can hear from her interview how passionate she is about family dynamics.
As Tone works with teens herself both through her chiropractic practice and with the Green Hub, she was keen to interview her mother about her experience of working with families and how parents together can help their teens by getting support and help for themselves.
A teen is never a person on their own, but always one of a group in a family construct.
