In November Tone went to the United Chiropractic Associations autumn conference in Birmingham.
It was two days packed with lectures from inspiring chiropractors from all over the world, full of positivity and friendship.
During the Saturday they announced the five nominations for Doctor of Chiropractic of the year award.
To Tone’s surprise she was one of the five nominees.
She didn’t win the award, but she was incredibly honoured to be nominated by her peers, especially this year where she has faced so many challenges.
She was also awarded the award for The most inspiring chiropractors of the year, at the ‘Women in Chiropractic’ event in January, due to her work with the Green Hub Project these past few years.
Tone has been a chiropractor for over 33 years and never stopped learning and sharing with her peers, patients and her community. Tone attributes her passion to her work and the Green Hub Charity to having found the love of chiropractic so many years ago.
Tone says: ‘finding something that you love and which can make a positive difference to others, is such a gift and it gives your inspiration and energy to do more.
Hoping this may inspire those who are currently making decisions about their studies and future.
Follow your passion’.
